[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are really liking the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils that we received for free courtesy of BIC. We're a standard pencil family, so these pencils are really different to us. We love the pretty, bright colors, and not having to sharpen your pencil all the time is pretty awesome too. They erase cleanly and completely, which is important. My kids have been using them for school work, so we appreciate that they're #2 lead. I've been using them around the house, and I really like always having a sharp point handy. I would recommend these pencils to my friends, and I'll definitely be purchasing them again.

The lead is dark without pressing too hard and it doesn't break easily. The lead doesn't smudge nor does it leave unsightly marks when erasing. Nice mechanical pencils, will definitely have to buy more for my daughter!

And it's even better if they come in every possible color, it doesn't matter to them that they write in the same color, they love and have to have all possible colors of the barrel. These BIC Velocity pencils are great, just what my kids need! Colorful barrels, strong lead, good grip! And they erase clearly with the minimal smudging.
