Kids love writing

The grip is thicker than average, making them easier to hold. They write really smooth and no need to sharpen over and over. They are enjoying using these at school for note taking and tests. The erasers are durable and erase well without smearing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall my daughter and I really like these pencils. They write smoothly and have a bold dark lead color. The leads or easy to replace. The erase works very well. With other pencils I always have to press really hard and rube a lot to erase. Then my eraser always pops out . I did not have that problem with these pencils. They erased very easily. .I received these pencils free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using pentel p207 pencils for over 20 years since college. I am pretty picky about mechanical pencils. I prefer .7mm lead and the weight of metal pencil and simple ridged grip of this pencil. I gave the BIC velocity pencils a try and was pleasantly surprised. Usually plastic mechanical pencils feel very cheap. The grip was good. I actually didn't mind the cushy feel. I enjoyed not having to remove a cap to get to the eraser. I loved the color options! I will definitely use these as an alternative to my standard. The BIC pencil didn't fit easily in my planner pencil holder -- too fat and grip got in the way. But I will use these around the house and in the car.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love these pencils. The grip is very comfortable and the lead quality is dark (.7 lead) and does not easily break. Writing is smooth and no lead shavings on the paper. The pencils come with refillable lead and erasers. The size of the pencil fits smaller hands as well as adult sized hands which is a bonus for the whole family. With school right around the corner, these pencils will definitely make the school supply list.

Next in the long line of fantastic quality is that the lead doesn't break as easily as some other pencils we've tried (I'm looking at you pentech). In addition, the additional lead loads easily while again not snapping. Aso if that wasn't enough awesomeness, BIC decided to include additional erasers in the package, genius idea.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] looking at the packaging, I was under the imprison the lead would be the color of the pencil. sadly, I was wrong. as far as mechanical pencils go, they are fairly standard. their only feature that sets then slightly apart is how much lead comes out with each click: it's a tiny bit less than the competition, but I had less tips break off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My tween/teen kids love the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. I barely had them out of the BzzAgent box and they both absconded with them. Traditional pencils aren't as cool with big kids. The mechanical BIC pencils are especially great for my high school kid in his architectural drawing class. He is impressed with the ease of use and sharp lines.
