When taking notes or working out a computation in class, nothing beats the versitality of a pencil. Why go for a stodgy run of the mill #2 when Bic makes these super slick mechanicals!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These BIC Velocity mechanical pencils are the bomb! They write so smoothly and fit very comfortably in my hand. The lead also seems pretty durable as it doesn't break every time you put the pencil to paper. The erasure stays put will doing it's job instead of falling out. I gave each of my kids some to take to school because they love mechanical pencils!

My kids were excited when these arrived and opened them immediately. We really wanted to like these. The colors are fun, the grip is nice, they come with extra erasers and lead, which is a plus. But, the lead breaks easily. They don't write smoothly. This leads to frustration with my kids, which is no good. With that being said, we would not purchase these at all.

We have all been using these pencils since we got them. They write really smoothly, and erase well too. The kids like that they come in fun colors, and I like that the price is really reasonable. They are comfortable to hold even for smaller hands.

I have been using BIC for years and have used a lot of mechanical pencils in my day but these, I have to say are my hands down our favorite pencils! They write so much smoother and the lead is much darker. I like the fact they have do have lots of lead (longer use) and comes with an extra eraser for all 5 pencils in the package is great, it's nice for when you have a son who can be pretty hard on them! We sure love the built in grip! These mechanical pencils are so easy to hold onto! My whole family feels spoiled by and really love the new Bic Velocity Pencils!
