[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are great sturdy and colorful. I like the design and the way the feel. Not cheap plastic like some mechanical pencils. The lead erased without smudging. The colors are cheerful like a rainbow. I would use these for personal use if my kids don't snag them. I received these BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils pencils as a free sample and was not paid for my review

Great for not a pencil person

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a pencil person. I have never liked the way they always seem light when writing unless pishing real hard. Then if there is a mistake you can't do anything. Well I tried the bic velocity mechanical pencil and now it is a must have in my pen container. It has a very smooth dark finish. Able to have a great finish and able to erase if need be. My kids keep taking them from my desk now. Great for any age. The lead is very strong that I am not worried about having a lot of extra lead avaible because the lead breaks #bzzagent #igetitforfree

They called their friends over to our house, and they had so much fun using the pencils and taking some home for their school back pack. They couldn't wait to show them to their Mom's and have them to buy them some for their school supplies. Your kids will love them too!!!

He says they write perfect and not only does it come with the lead refill but it also comes with an eraser refill which he says is super important being in high school and repeatedly erasing when writing reports.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know that the kids are super stoked to get these and try them out but I wanted to put them to the test myself so I could find out first hand what everyone was raving about. I decided since there is all that debate on whether they should keep cursive teaching in schools that I would practice my cursive and show my children how beautiful it could be. So I wrote a page of just words and found that the pencil is very precise. It was also comfortable to hold. The led was super strong and did not break on me once. It was definitely an advanced pencil and so I stashed it away so I could have it all to myself.
