[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love these mechanical pencils. They are very colorful which makes writing fun. The grip makes the pencil feel comfortable in my hand. The most important part to me is the eraser and this eraser has stood up to the test. White erasers normally leave smudges however on the BIC Velocity the eraser is tough, removes any sign of your mistake and leaves no smudges. Writing with it is easy, smooth and love the dark lead. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the new BIC Velocity Medium Point Mechanical Pencils. They are so easy to hold and write with. They offer a comfort grip for those long Journal or note taking sessions. They write smoothly and are so wonderful to use. The eraser on the top even has a tiny protective plastic cap that prevents the eraser from falling off like most other Mechanical pencil erasers do. Easy to take apart and re-fill too. My sample that I received from BuzzAgent for Free in exchange for my honest review and insight Included 5 awesome Velocity pencils, 5 extra replacement erasers and a small container of refill lead. My kids and I are really enjoying these great sturdy pencils. I highly recommend you give them a try. Your kids will thank you! And you just might find yourself stealing a few for your own use!

At first they were reluctant to use mechanical pencils. They told me the other brands they tried in the past were very cheaply made and were flimsy, the lead would constantly break and the erasers would fall out. With the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils, they haven't had any problems! The lead doesn't break, the pencils are sturdy and quality made and comfortable to hold. My kids are impressed and now request that it's the only pencils we buy!

They use .7 lead so they are able to be refilled with ease as they sell that kind of lead everywhere. They come in cool colors and come with extra erasers which I know I would have loved when I was in school. It also comes with a refill tube that has 12 extra pieces of lead for your pencils. They come with a grip so that it is easy to hold and fits comfortably in your hand. It erases really well which is another feature that I love because especially when you are drawing it becomes an annoyance if you can't erase mistakes or things of that sort.

He likes the fact that there is no sharpening, the lead doesn't break off like some of the other mechanical pencils, and the handy eraser actually works and isn't gone in a day. When I tried one, wow! Super comfortable grip, completely different than any other pencil I have tried. This pencil is loved by all in this house!
