[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I continue to be impressed with the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils. I don't usually purchase mechanical pencils as I have always felt that the lead breaks too easily and therefore I tend to go through the extra lead quickly. Kids especially have always tended to press too hard and Snap-broken lead. I have to say I am impressed with how well they have stood up to the test of kids. And the bright colors make them even more fun to use. I will definitely be purchasing these in the future.

The kids love doodling and the adults love the smooth writing experience. And, everyone loves the bright colors! Nice strong lead;nothing is more annoying than when your pencil point breaks! With BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils , you don't have to worry about that happening! I keep one in my bag, and I don't have to worry about pens leaking and making a mess. They are great for academics,to keep by the phone when you want to jot down a number or a note, pop in the glove compartment ,etc. And, they would make GREAT stocking stuffers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are great! My children and I love the beautiful, bright colors they come in. I like that these mechanical pencils are always sharp and ready to write with, no more looking for a sharp pencil, or the need to constantly re-sharpen a pencil while writing important notes or doing homework! The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils have a strong lead that doesn't break easily, and which writes very smooth and dark. The handwriting of my children looked so much more neat, and even little mistakes disappeared easily, without smudging or leaving big marks behind, thanks to the durable, white erasers on them. Another great and unique feature in my opinion is that the erasers have caps on them, which prevents you from accidentally releasing more lead when being tossed into a pencil case or backpack! The package also includes extra lead, plus extra erasers, that make it a great value! My kids' favorite feature about these pencils, besides the vibrant colors, are the soft, cushion-like pencil grips, which make it so much more comfortable to write with them, unlike other brands that used to give my oldest daughter constantly blisters from writing so much at school and at home. I like the durable quality of the pencils, you can tell they are made to last! I have already bought more, and highly recommend them! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils have been made much better than other mechanical pencils. The lead is made stronger, and doesn't break every few minutes when writing, which is such a pain. My kids all took their new Bic pencils with them the first day back to school, and were excited to pack them in their bags. They bragged about how everytime the messed up and had to erase, that it wasnt hard to erase and get it all erased with out still seeing it. A few kids asked where they got those cool pencils, they were happy to let them know! These pencils are great for home and school and will continue to be used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My high school kids have used mechanical pencils forever, so I was super happy to give these to them to try, just in time for school to start. Both of them have given their approval, saying that they write very nicely, the lead comes out easily like it's supposed to and they like the grips, they are really comfortable to hold. I like that they come with extra lead and erasers, because we have thrown many previous ones out once the lead is gone or the erasers are worn down. Bic is a brand that I am familiar with and will buy these for them when they need more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must start by saying, it was pretty cool to have the chance to try out these new Pencils before others got the chance to. I decided to get a little help from my kids and niece and nephew that are in school, to see what they thought about the Pencils. I did like that when writing with the Velocity Pencils the writing was very smooth and easy to erase when needed. The fact that the Pencils come with extra erasers and lead is definitely an added bonus. The only downside to writing with these Pencils is if you aren't careful the leads break easily which is something that honestly would happen with any brand. Overall i would definitely suggest these to others and I do plan to use my coupons considering they are reasonably priced.
