It's awesome that they come with replacement erasers and extra leads in the package- very handy! Friends and family were very excited to get a sample and love the look.

I buy mechanical pencils all the time for my son, and most of the time they are from BIC but I wondered what this new product was and how it would be any better to what I'm already used to. To my surprise these seemed smoother than the others I've bought. They also seem to be lasting longer. He always previously complained of having to refill his pencils frequently, and after 3 days of continued use while doing his summer homework, he hasn't said a thing! Bonus - they come in lively colors, and he graciously gave my younger daughter one. She too loves them! These are a keeper!

We home school so there isn't really access to a sharpener and to be honest traditional penicls for taking notes would be some what inconvenient. So we are pretty sure these will work out perfectly for our kids. I even let my husband take one to work. He has no access to a pencil sharpener but for some projects he needs a pencil and not a pen so this will also work out great for him. I love that they look like pens. They are colorful and sleek. The design is really great.

It has to be strong and dependable. It has to write a certain way and come with refillable lead and erasers. Thanks to Bzz Agent sending us Bic Velocity Pencils to try, she now has a new favorite! She immediately remarked about the lead writing especially dark and smooth. The comfortable grips, cool colors and an eraser that leaves nothing behind make these perfect. All of the kids at school have been asking what brand they are and she gladly told them. Bic Velocity Pencils are perfect! Try them and you will see for yourself.

They told me that the pencil itself had a comfortable feel in their hand, especially with the grip, which is a big help for their hands not to get tired easily. The pencils write smoothly, and the lead shows up nicely on paper. The erasers don't smudge your writing, which is perfect for school. The pack, being aesthetically pleasing and comes in five neon colors is definitely a bonus.

I have been using BIC for years and have used a lot of mechanical pencils in my day but these, I have to say are my hands down our favorite pencils! They write so much smoother and the lead is much darker. I like the fact they have do have lots of lead (longer use) and comes with an extra eraser for all 5 pencils in the package is great, it's nice for when you have a son who can be pretty hard on them! We sure love the built in grip! These mechanical pencils are so easy to hold onto! My son and I will enjoy these! My daughter loves them also she is getting great use of these as she in college now!
