Sturdy Lead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am personally not a huge fan of mechanical pencils, but after trying these pencils I received free from BIC, I am a believer. The lead is sturdy under my heavy hand! I'm not constantly having to change out leads everyday as opposed to other brands of mechanical pencils. The only down side is being a lefty the lead smears a little as I am writing.

She did mention that she wished they came with fun prints as well. She likes the eraser and said it works well, just the eraser cap is easy to lose. I'm thrilled these pencils seem very durable, she hasn't one break yet. The gripper feels comfortable but could be slightly softer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have taken over the pencils! I haven't seen them since the first day I got them in the mail. My son is using them for school (which has already started) and my daughter (age 9) LOVES to draw and is using them to draw her fancy pictures. She would take them to school with her too if she could use them for school work. Being in the 4th grade though, they're still using the regular #2 pencils. My kids have not complained about the lead breaking as they write and draw. When my kids are happy with a product then this mama is happy. Thank you Bic for the awesome velocity mechanical pencils! We will be buying more in the future!

They write very smoothly. she says she loves the handgrip it's very convenient. The style and colors are very nice. I don't have problems with the lead like I do with normal pencils and I dont have to worry about sharpening them either. These pencils are by far my favorite mechanical pencil." By the way
