My kids are rough on lead pencils so the fact that the lead doesn't break as easily saves me money on replacing led. Also the lead is so much easier to erase and doesn't smudge like other pencils so their homework looks so much neater. than before. I like the finger grips that make writing much more comfortable. Since we have started the survey we actually have replaced all of our old lead pencils with velocity.

Well not anymore! Even my son was excited when he lost an eraser because he had another to use And wouldn't have to throw away his brand new pencil! Not only do they have nice vibrant colors but they also save you money.

My daughter opened one of the packages we got in the mail and absolutely loves these. She told me I need to buy more she doesn't want any other pencil this year. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is very particular about what kinds of pencils he uses and sometimes it can get frustrating for me. If we don't have a pencil he likes, he shuts down. He has symptoms of Asperger's, among other things, so sensation is a big 'thing' for him. I opened the package of Bic Velocity and hoped for the best. He tried one out, and actually loved it. He said it felt comfortable in his hand and they were easy to write with. I will now have these on hand at all times with refills. I decided to take a couple to work because I use pencils on occasion and my coworkers do too. This pencil writes with a smooth line and it has quite a dark line. I love that they are refillable too. I am impressed with the eraser... a lot of the erasers you get on mechanical pencils do not work well, but this one easily erases my mistakes. The lead is strong and does not break easily and the tip is retractable. But the best feature? The comfortable grip. For myself, I love the fun colors that it comes in. I took the purple and pink and gave my son the yellow, orange and blue for school. He has been using these pencils for a couple of weeks now and they have really held up. #BicVelocity #GotItFree

My youngest said that he had the best mechanical pencils in the whole school and that everyone wanted one! They come with refillable led and even refillable erasers.
