Better than the rest

Super smooth!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mechanical pencils are great, especially for kids! They write very smoothly and erasing is a breeze. The color coding helps to reduce fighting over whose pencil is whose, and the extra lead and erasers are easy to use. As a physicist, I prefer my lead not to spin inside it's chamber while I write, which allows me to use the edge" of the lead when I need a fine point

My daughters whole class enjoyed Bic Velocity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these mechanical pencils. They write really smooth and I don't think the lead breaks easily. I have used other ones in the past that seem to break every time I try to write. So frustrating. We gave everyone in my daughters class one, and they seemed to really like them.

Basic pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were just like any other type of mechanical pencil. There wasn't anything really special about these. They work and write and hold up just like any other brand pencil does. They came in basic colors, rainbow. I looked at them in several different stores and they are just basic color. They could have came in neat exotic colors or patterns. They could have changed the shape where your fingers rest. The best part was the extra erasers and led. You never have enough of that. Come on BIC get creative, add some new color and style. Make a potential buyer love these with new patterns or designs like marble, ty dye, neon colors or houndstooth.

Great Mechanical Pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love. Love. Love. Honestly at first look you would think these pencils are really pens. They do not look or feel like the typical mechanical pencil I was use to as a kid. Gone as those thin pencils that were hard to grip and constantly broke if you applied to much pressure!! First off just looking at the packaging these pencils are so pretty. I love the bright vibrant colors. They could be mistaken for colored pens. I think it's nice how the circumference is thicker than an average mechanical pencil and I absolutely love the added grip at the base. It makes it much more comfortable to write with. I find that this pencils writes even smoother than a regular pencil that you sharpen. I was able to write a large amount with just 2 clicks it almost writes like a gel pen. I also found that you can apply a good amount of pressure without breaking the lead. I had to push very hard to actually break the tip. The eraser does a great job too. It removes all marks and doesn't leave behind any residue. My teenage daughter loves these. She took a whole package for her back to school supplies. I asked her how she liked them and said they are coming in really handy in Math class. She likes the feel of a pen but that she can write in a pencil and erase easily. I will definitely be purchasing these again. Another great thing is I love the write in pencil in my planner and always find it annoying that a Regular pencil breaks in your pocketbook and marks up the inside. These do not they are fabulous!!

BIC Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how these pencils write. I find that the lead is smooth and does not skip. The tips are strong and do not break easily even when bearing down hard. I use these pencils to keep my appointments and like that the lead does not smudge like other mechanical pencils that I usually use. A few things I found I was not hundred percent satisfied with were; one they do look just like a pen, so on multiple occasions I started to use it when a pen was needed before I realized that it was a pencil. The second was the lead replacement. And this is more of a personal dislike then a design issue. The lead was not difficult to replace but it was easy to misplace once the package was opened and I just find it easier to dispose of the pencil when it is empty rather than worry about keeping track of the replacement lead and replenishing it. I would definitely recommend these pencils to others because of their performance and smoothness. In fact my daughter preferred them over the brand I had previously been buying and gave a few out to her friends at school.
