[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Math is that one class that carries on in any grade and the requirement has always been ... you must use a pencil! When using a standard pencil, the lead dulls quickly, but with these mechanical pencils, each and every problem is crisp and clear. That matters when you are dealing with decimals! Every 1/2 point counts! :) Thanks Bzz for letting us try these Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils! Perfect timing to have a great stash just in time for the first math assignment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these new Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are the bomb. They are very portable. They don't require messy pencil sharpeners. They come in cool, jewel tones, and are fun to use. The lead write nice and dark and then if you make a mistake, it erases cleanly, which is a great thing when you have a 5 year old in kindergarten using them.

Quality Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great. I prefer mechanical pencils over regular pencils. I always put these in my purse or backpack for college so I like pushing the lead back in so it won't stain other things in there. I have found that most mechanical pencils stop working when I do this after a while, but these pencils still work great. They have yet to malfunction. These are definitely better quality compared to others I've had and I like having extra erasers and lead. And great when I have exams I don't have to bring the wood pencils that leave marks everywhere and always break! It's also comfortable in my hand and doesn't hurt my finger that I rest on when writing and doesn't leave a red mark from the pressure.

Well, she was jumping for joy when I handed her these BIC Velocity pencils! Not only were the colors appealing, but the handy dandy lead holder was just right- fit into her pencil case and she hasn't lost it yet! Plus she loves the way it feels in her hands, so no more complaining her hand hurts when she is doing homework!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils for free to try out. My kids were hesitant because of their history with mechanical pencils. The weight is usually all wrong, you can't press hard, and sometimes the lead just breaks. My eldest daughter is in junior high and has been happy overall with the pencils. She likes that they are slightly heavier than the competitor. The lead seems fine with her. I'm giviving them a 3 out Of 5 because the eraser doesn't do the job. It constantly pops out of its holder on you when you try to erase something. I'm not sure I would purchase in the future.

These pencils have the same look and feel as a pen to me. They write really well and are strong and do not break as easily as the mechanical pencils as I was used to in the past. I love the fact they come in bright vibrant colors and not just the boring black. I shared these pencils and coupons with my co workers and bought some for my daughter for back to school. They were excited to return to school and even more excited when they received these pencils. Some pencils you get they don't erase very goo leaving marks still on the paper but these do not. They have a clean erase and smooth writing and we will defiantly be buying these again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Sophomore son, who only writes with mechanical pencils, has found his new lifetime pencil! Through the years we have bought many types of mechanical pencils and these, by far, exceed all the others. The lead is strong and dark. The erasers erase completely and cleanly with no smudges. And it's an extra perk that they come with extra lead and erasers. We will never buy any other kind of mechanical pencils again.
