[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] one thank you Bzzagent for sending me this product for free to try in return for my review. My kids where super pumped to receive these and thought I was the best (they oddly love mechanical pencils). They ripped the pencils open and claimed colors first, I was able to snag 2 for myself. We all tried them out by writing a few letters and words down on a piece of paper. We loved the grip holder made it less achy on our fingers (no indents) the cap for the eraser was neat idea but I did notice a bunch around the house (not back on the pencil) the writing was smooth and reminded me of a pen in a way. the refill was easy to use which is always a plus some just never work. all in all I think my kids and I really enjoyed using and will continue to purchase,.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved these pencils. We received them just before school started so that worked out well. My son took them to school and was just as pleased as I am. Not only did the colors appeal to him but he said they write well and that the lead didn't break as easily as most mechanical pencils do. I was able to snag the pink and purple pencils from him since, you know- that wouldn't be cool for a boy to have and I have used them at work. In the past I have always had issues with the erasers coming out when I try to use the eraser and it resulted in all the lead falling out but that hasn't happened with these pencils so they definitely get a thumbs up from me!! I would buy these pencils for school use as well as for use in the office for myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing you notice is the vibrant colors. My daughter was super excited to try these so she immediately began to doodle.. She loves how smoothly they write, the feel of the pencil in her hand, and that they erase cleanly. Unlike other pencils that do not erase well. The lead seems stronger and doesn't break as often as other mechanical pencils we use. They come with extra lead and eraser too. I think that the retractable tip is awesome. I also love how they write, so these will be on our list for school and home!

I have been testing these pencils out! I have been using BIC for years and have used a lot of mechanical pencils in my day but these, I have to say are my favorite! they write smoother and the lead is darker doesnt break easily. But the fact they have a lot of lead and comes with an extra eraser for all 5 pencils in the package is pretty awesome,! favorite thing about these is the built in grip! They are so easy to hold these! Ok, maybe I am putting too much pressure on these pencils now... hahhahsh

These BIC Velocity pencils are worth the price for sure! They write smoothly, erase well, and come with extra erasers and lead! They are cute enough for my 10 year old, too, which is important to her! As soon as we got the package she was picking out which ones would be going to school with her!
