BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are my New Favorite Pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the very best pencil that I have ever used. I can say that is very visually pleasing, easy to hold and maneuver, and writes perfectly. The lead is very smooth and I like how it does not drag when I write on paper. My children both LOVE this pencil and use it every day at school and while at home doing their homework. This is a product that I plan to purchase again in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great! My kids started using mechanical pencils last year. Clicking is way more fun than sharpening! We've had trouble with other brands, having the lead break soon after they would click" more out.. We have not had that problem with BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. I like the metal tip that comes out and goes back in when we push the lead back inside to avoid breaking while not in use. We love the colors. The finger grips ensure that you don't leave an indention in your finger after some intense writing. I'm not crazy about the eraser cap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Velocity pencil while making our school supply list because I needed a narrow writing utensil to write in such a small space! Wise choice because it not only writes smoothly, but also thin clean lines! The erase starts out a bit smudgy, but once used it erases well. The kids used them to mark off the things on their list. They were cool cats in the store! The lead didn't break once while we were using them in the store.

They are a hit with my kids, and are so nice that I won't allow them to steal my favorite colored one! I hide it just so I will always have one for myself! They are sturdy and well-made. These pencils are tough, and I think they will outlast my kids' and their rough play. These are great in my opinion...easy to use, easy to erase, and well made all around!

Changed my mind about mechanical pencils

As an English teacher and mom of 7, I haven't had a very positive view on mechanical pencils. The lead breaks easily and leaves a mess all over the table and I feel like I am always buying need lead. BUT... these BIC Velocity pencils have changed my mind about mechanical pencils. The lead is extremely sturdy and holds up to children who like to press hard while writing. The product, the kids' writing is neat and clean, not smudgy! And, no broken lead all over my table! I love it. The kids love it too because I normally wouldn't ever buy them mechanical pencils but these pencils have me giving mechanical pencils a second chance. I would definitely purchase these and know with confidence that my kids are writing with a sturdy, dependable pencil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doodles are my fav! I've owned the same mechanical pencil for 20 yrs. Until now, I have not tried one that even came close. BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils come very close, and with great colors and attractive price, are great for kids and to use around the house. I like that they come with spare lead and erasers. The one con: kids are genetically programmed to leave the clear plastic eraser lids on the table rather than putting them back on the pencil!
