These pencils are great! No sharpener needed just click and you have more lead. If you run out of lead just get some replacements. So easy and fun! #bicvelocity #gotitforfree

The pencils write very smooth and with the lead being strong there is less breakage which saves money since I don't have to buy as much lead. #GotItFree

While I was quite impressed with the pencils I gave them to my 11 year old middle school student to try. In her words, there awesome. She said the colors were really cool and fun. The pencils were comfortable to hold while writing and they wrote smooth. Bic hit it out of the park with these pencils.

Usually when you make an assumption all pencils are same this is where most people will be wrong. These are high quality, extremely durable, comes with lead and eraser refills, very easy to grip and hold, has a rubber handle to write for a while and never feel strain on your finger. Its smoothness is the biggest selling point. At first I thought it was a gel pen. That is how smooth it writes. I could never thing of it being a pencil. I had my son try it out and he was amazed that it was a pencil. He said it glides on paper just like a pen and almost ink liquid type not lead. But truly it is lead just great quality lead. Best quality pencils out there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that BICVelocity Mechanical Pencils are Probably one of the best back to school purchases I have made so far this year. Normally my son gets super frustrated on how the lead breaks on his usual mechanical pencils. But, not these. The led seems thicker and stronger. I love the fact that the barrel of the pencil is also wider and has a grip. It makes doing homework much more comfortable. Most of you will also enjoy that it comes with extra erasers and lead. No more having to make separate purchases or multiple packages of pencils. This is a money saver for sure!!
