School time and the writin' is easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only do BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils write better than some of the other brands out there, they are easy for me and my kids to hold. The erasers are awesome and we love the fun colors the pencils come in!! My kids have to use mechanical pencils for cursive and these are the only pencils we will buy!

First let me say that our family loves mechanical pencils for the sheer ease of use. No sharpening pencils, etc. However we have a problem with my kids destroying the lead or the pencils themselves somehow. These Velocity mechanical pencils are GREAT though. The lead is durable, not cheap and doesn't break often. They write so smoothly and erase really, really well. My kids LOVE how well they write, and they love the great colors that are available. I find my girls rushing to grab these pencils now vs pens (which make a huge mess). Thank you BIC for this awesome product!!! We will be purchasing many for school time.

The writing is smooth and good for homework. I just wish it was easier to advance the lead, as it takes a bit of time when doing homework.

Smooth Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can compare it to the old Bic Mechanical Pencils because I just threw one out! These are just better! They are comfy and slick and almost felt like I was writing with a pen but I was writing with a pencil! I love these! With these, I felt like every stroke was even not jagged and I remember feeling that the point would often break or the lead would not be even with the other pencils. I enjoy writing with these pencils and so does my daughter. She instantly goes for them and when doing her homework and I wasn't aware that she knew that they had been added to the jar but the bright colors was an instant attraction and when I tried to hide them she knew exactly which colors were missing! So, I'm excited to buy more because if that's what she needs to help aid her after school in homework, I'm all for it!!!
