I got them in the mail and my boys grabbed them up as fast as they could and couldn't wait to start drawing and writing with them. Boy do they love mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just loving the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils! Pink is my favorite color so this one is getting lots of use! I can't get over how smooth it writes. To be honest, when mechanical pencils have ran out of lead in the past, instead of buying more, I would just throw them away and buy more pencils. But not anymore! These pencils are keepers! The built in grip just makes it so easy to write with. I actually prefer these over pens and that is odd for me! My kids are actually a little excited to start back to school with these pencils! Thanks BIC & BzzAgent!

They come in many bright colors, purple is our favorite. They practically glide across the paper. I love that they have a cover over the eraser. I have a tendency to lose them.
