[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are some awesome pencils. I remember when I was a kid and the pencils were dull, boring, and just the plain normal colors that everyone had. I recommend getting something that grabs the kiddos attention, even your own. These pencils do just that! The grip is amazing and a lot better than the typical pencil grips that you have to buy extra, great for little hands. #BICVelocity and #GotItFree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I can say when I first opened the box, I was amazed by the brightness of colors that the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils came in. Each pack comes with a refill tube of 12 leads + 5 erasers. The leads are thick, which is excellent because they will not break easy while writing. We as parents all know how important that information is. The grip is smooth and easy to hold. Erases easy and clean as well. So far the best Mechanical pencils we have used. It isn't just the fun clicking they love, they all actually write and draw better with a mechanical pencil. In all honesty, so do I. A lot of the time, the old mechanical pencils got uncomfortable, just the slight size difference between regular pencils would make their hands cramp. The new design on these pencils is amazing! No more hand cramping and I can read what they are writing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think my favorite thing for me, my husband and my kids like to write with are the mechanical pencils especially the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils. They are very comfortable to hold and don't bother your finger or leave an indention like regular #2 pencils give you when writing for a while cause of the rubber grip. It makes you write so really neat it's great! Especially the great colors they come in it definitely makes it fun for the kids being able to pick there favorite color & for writing like home work, class work, my daughter loves them for her High School Algebra class, she says I can write really good with them and neat when working problems. I like the feeing of how smooth they write is allways a plus and when you need to erase it, it comes out so clear and perfect. I like that in the packs come with refill lead cause it can get costly so I definitely like the refills!! The lead last about how long you write for. So far we haven't had to refill any and have been using them for 2 weeks now since school started. I have used a lot of other brands but his one seems more designed for longer ware in everyday life. I am really glad we were able to try these and use them in our day to day school work & business !??

Loving the fun

My daughter loves writing with mechanical pencils over regular old fashioned pencils any day. The Bic Velocity pencils are her new fave. She loves the fun colors. She was even shocked when the pencils came with refills for lead and erasers. She uses them in school and feels the erasers would be great if they lasted longer. She says she always runs out of eraser WAY before the lead or breaking of the actual pencil :( (sad face).
