The thick black marker I bought turned out to write in an awesomely black color but I was confused when considering buying it. I thought the "TRU RED" labeling meant this marker contained red ink in a color called "TRU RED " like really red. The black cap was the only indication that the ink inside was black ... but was it??? I was gambling unfamiliar with Staples new branding. It was only when waiting in the checkout line and saw other items labeled "TRU RED" that I caught on. At least I think I caught on. Who's to say my guess about the new branding is correct? But back to the actual marker ... it has a VERY comforting click that confirms that the cap is on tight. And the ink is really black. But Staples your marketing department missed the potential confusion with TRU RED ... and I'm relatively intelligent with a career in IT Marketing! If you're gonna stick with the TRU RED campaign then change your labeling on anything that involves different colors!
I really went into Staples to bring electronics for disposal. The staff was great and helpful. Had all the answers to my questions. This left me with a good attitude toward the store and I decided to stay to shop a little.
