Barrel too thick to hold. Ink pad not as fat as should be so the drawn line is thinner than expected even when holding at an angle appropriate for an expected thick full line. Not sure if ink will last as couldn’t complete the project. Very disappointed.
I bought this marker to mark my trash bins with my address. I was looking for a Marks-a-lot marker but Staples doesn't carry it. The chisel tip has to be held in the correct orientation so the strokes create a bold line. I imagine if I wanted to do calligraphy with this marker it would work well but I just needed it for a bold line. It works fine if you hold it so the width of the marker is used to write.
I needed an extra large sharpie for a project which wasn’t available. The manager showed me the Staples version and it worked perfectly! This one was much cheaper than the named brand one as well. Win-Win
Had shopped several other places looking for a wide chisel tip marker with little success. Checked the Staples website and came across this a no widely known name I gathered it is a generic Staples brand. It was just what I needed and has worked for my needs. The ink is permanent and tip is saturated so keep away from small hands. Recommend for blocking typed or written material.
I thought I was buying a large tipped super duty red marker. The ink seemed watered down almost. The color was not a bold red. And in 2 days it faded to a pinkish orange. The tip shape was hard to work with too. It was not easy to use to make letters or shapes.
