The drawers are not on rails. They drop/slip off the plastic sliders. Also this cannot handle any weight on top (e.g. a small printer) because it makes the walls of the cabinet bow outward causing more drawer issues. Definitely not worth the headaches. You will want to return it within a day or 2 of use.

Do not use if you plan on filling the drawers 50% or more. Once the drawers are about half full or 20 lbs you will not be able to open without breaking stuck plastics tabs that hold the drawer onto the guides. After using a little more muscle to pull the stuck drawers open the entire thin walled cabinet will twist and distort in a way that the other drawers will fall off there tracks and get stuck also. I decided to toss all parts in the dumpster I am not even returning the product .. not worth the rehash.

I found it to be a bit unstable. It sits in my closet and I have filled it up. Would have liked it to be more stable it’s nothing like the one I replaced but it is what it is.

If i put too many files in the middle drawer it falls off the plastic rails. Rails or drawer guides are not made of metal they are made of plastic. You’d expect more for a hundred dollars.

I needed something to put old job folders in and this does do that. But they are poorly made and if used on a daily basis they wouldn't hold up. Ok for old stuff I guess........
