It is a bit Flimsy. So Light Weight that you needed to have it weighted @ bottom just in case someone does not want to mount it to the wall. The plastic that is used for the drawers to slide in is also very flimsy. I am using it to the best of it's ability. LOL

This filing cabinet is okay.. not very sturdy but gets the job done. The tracks are plastic so the drawers fall of the track often. If you have a lot if files I wouldn't recommend this one but if you are storing just a few it will do just fine.

This is a small unit for casual use. It locks but it isn't heavy and could be carried away whole if someone had the mind. But it opens smoothly and silently fits hanging files and is a perfectly adequate file cabinet.
