I need an inexpensive hanging file cabinet and thought this would fit the bill. Unfortunately it is super flimsy. The drawers are not on built-in guides so if you put too many files into a draw if will take the cabinet out of square when you open the drawer. Then the draw will fll off the little bit of track. The draw will fall into the one below it. Have "fun" getting it back on track. Not recommended.

It’s ok - top was slightly bent when received and the 1st drawer is hard to open - other than that it’s fonw . Not the sturdiest of metals

If you plan to put more than just a few files in each drawer don’t waste your money. I picked this up because I needed a larger filing cabinet. Had a 2 drawer that was too full get anything in or out of so I ordered this three drawer from staples. Once I got this home I started transferring over my files from my other filing cabinet. The top 2 drawers collapsed within a couple of minutes of me putting files in the cabinet and made it so that I couldn’t even open the drawers to get my stuff out. Took me almost an hour just to get the drawer back open to get my stuff out. If you are looking for a cabinet to put more than 5 files in don’t bother with this one.

This product was a little too flimsy and we only kept it because we are storing files that we rarely access in this filing cabinet. If I were to use it regularly I would have returned it by now.

I returned this product as I see many others have for the same reason-it works great until you put something in it. At that point the drawers go cattywompers and fall off the tracks. It lacks the side to side bracing to keep this from happening. My local store was wonderful in handling the return.
