Easy to use

We used them to hang Christmas gardland around our door ways. We have used these many times with great results in the past but the new ones don’t hold as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] you can't go wrong with these hooks for everyday pictures and craft items. If you love to change stuff on the walls or where ever with the holidays, you have to buy these hooks! So versatile, you'll wonder how you ever did without them.

I used the command large hook it showed holding a stepstool I have the same one and when I followed the direction carefully it still did not hold

Strong Hold!

I have two Command hooks on the inside of our bedroom door, where we hang our robes at night. They are always handy when we need to leave the room in the dark. Haven't had a hook come loose yet, however, my husband did break one off once. He was in a hurry and swiped the hook to hard!!!

Disappointed - didn't hold up

My daughter's high school locker was missing all the hooks to hold up jackets, etc. This was not working well organization wise, so my husband went to the store to purchase some adhesive hooks - "make sure you buy 3M brand" I told him, "they always have good quality items". Well I was wrong about this one - my daughter even took rubbing alcohol to school with her to clean the sides of the locker and she followed directions. All the hooks (we bought a package of 3) fell off within a day - they could not even hold up an empty backpack. Very disappointed.

DISAPPOINTED!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I've never been so frustrated and disappointed with any product in my entire life. I put up a command hook to hang a less than 1 pound wall scroll. It fell after a day. I cleaned the wall, and put up a new one. It fell within a few hours. Put up another one, waited for it to set over night, hung the scroll. It fell within two hours. Heated the wall with a blow dryer (since my room is cold), put a new hook on, hung the scroll, FELL YET AGAIN. I followed every direction to the letter and nothing has worked. When I barely followed the directions (my first attempt) it actually stayed the longest. I kept giving the hooks the benefit of the doubt, but I'm just out of options. They simply don't work. Waste of money!!!

Peeled the paint right off

I used many different sizes of the command product line do hang some Christmas decorations for one of my clients, instead of using nails, like their add says to do and I made sure I stayed with in the weight limits of the hooks. I followed the instructions and used rubbing alcohol to prepare the wall surface and just hours after I left stuff started falling off the wall taking big chunks of paint. Fearing for the rest of the stuff I hung, I went back and started taking down the other items and when I stretched the tabs the way they instruct, I still took paint off the wall. I would have been better off using small nails. USE NAILS NOT THIS PRODUCT!

I have been a loyal user of all sizes of the 3M hooks for many years and am horribly disappointed with all I have bought this year. Everything I have used them on has failed. Wreaths, garlands, pictures. The only thing I can guess is they cheapened the adhesive as they no longer hold..
I have recommended them for years and now I have had 3 friends report the same thing happening with them !
