Worked better before refills

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these hooks in my office and they held what I needed for over a year. When I painted the room, I removed them and have replaced the strips to no success. 6 hooks and 12 strips later and I only have 2 hooks staying up more than a minute with something on it.

Thank you for creating your Rating and Review of the Command(TM) Large Hooks. We are sorry to hear about the trouble you are having getting the product to stick to your walls. We are happy to try to help resolve what is happening, but we need more details about the surface that you applied them to and how you cleaned the surface before trying to stick the Command(TM) strips on your wall. If you feel that you had followed all of the direction on the packaging and waited at least 7 full days from the time the walls were painted to try to hang the product; we would suggest contacting us at 1-800-934-7355. We are available Monday through Friday from 7:00 - 6:00 CT to help try to determine what could have happened. Please watch for a direct email as well. Thank you for your feedback and we hope to hear from you soon!

I originally purchased these large hooks about a year ago needing something quickly to hang my son's belts behind the door. Just last week we remodeled his room, so they had to come down and I was amazed at how simple it was. I inspected each area on the drywall for damage, but there was none. Also refreshing was the fact that we got to reuse them, leaving no nail holes left behind, easily attaching new tape to the back, and now they are displaying his hanging sports metals on a prominent wall in his room. Thank you 3M.

These hooks are better than what they advertise. I used a hook to hang a wreath on my front door last Christmas (2010). That same hook I used the entire year of 2011. What was great is that the hook held more weight than what was advertised. I am very pleased with this product as it exceeds expectations. I would recommend anyone to use this rather than trying nails or other items that could scratch or harm a surface.

I have this hook in our closet. It is so useful because it can hold anything from a heavy purse to light-weight pjs, plus it won't leave a hole in the wall if I decide to move it.

Love putting hooks up where and when I need them. I have used them mostly for kids needs. My younger son couldn't reach the coat tree hook, so I put a large hook on the wall next to the coat tree, just for him to use; now he can be more independent.
