We bought the Slidder because it seemed to be an improvement. However, the quality control people & engineers dropped the football on this product. Most of them had to be cut open after closing. About 80% of them would not even close & the slidder came off. Never again on this product. SCJohnson is a better company than this.

These bags constantly tear at the zipper.

whenever you purchase these bags and use them unlike all other ziplock bags the zipper tears away from the pink seam. These bags are horrible and I'm stuck with two boxes that are completely useless.

I received a sample of these in the mail and used them up quickly! Love the wide bottom and the fact that the bag will stand up. As usual, be carful with zipper, if you go to fast it might come off but they are easy to get back on, so it's not a big deal. Zippers are so much easier to use than having to line up the seals and wonder if it's really sealed.

I bought a 24 pack of Ziploc Slider Freezer (gallon). There is a 5" sllit in each of the bags. I thought it was just a couple that were defective, but the whole box was unusable. I have always trusted the Ziploc name for it's quality when shopping for storage/freezer bags. That will not happen again because the quality and flimsiness of the bags have gotten progressively worse. Maybe the cheaper versions are actually better. I threw away my receipt because of my trust, so I couldn't return it to local store where I bought. That will not happen again. Ziploc is no longer my default for storage bags/containers.

I bought the gallon freezer bags to freeze our delicious NJ blueberries. Multiple times the bags ripped just below the zipper seal and I had to throw them out.

I have been using Ziploc products since they first came out and have found soooo many uses for them. However, these new Ziploc sliders are useless, at best. At least half of them in the box, the slider does not work. Please discontinue.
