[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free sample of Scotch Contractor Grade Masking Tape. I had a small painting project to complete on a remodeled clothing closet and this product came in handy. I was able to truly test it out. It applied well. The size/width was just right. The removal was almost perfect. The tape came off easily however there were small areas where the new paint also lifted along with the tape. I did not follow the usual guideline for removing the tape at a 45 degree angle so that may have been a factor here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the width of the tape. Saves me time having to use 2 pieces of tape. Plus, it’s best feature is its adhesive properties. This tape sticks better than any other tape that I have tried. I think I just found my new favorite go-to masking tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a free sample of this product to evaluate. After receiving it was a few days before I had a project to use it on. I did a repaint on a large room. Found it easy to apply. After allowing drying time (2 days) found removal very easy and found it left very crisp lines with no bleed thru. Very satisfied with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to try and I'm glad I did. I learned that using this product in the short term no longer than a day is good. It holds very well but if left too long can cause damage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed some masking tape for a craft project, and this tape worked perfectly! I had received a roll of the Scotch Contractor Grade Masking Tape free to evaluate recently and it worked perfectly to hold the walls of the diorama in place until the glue set. It was also excellent for taping off the sections of my barn quilt craft project so I could paint the details without the paint running into the other sections. Removal was clean and easy! I'd definitely use this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tape to hold my refrigerator handle on after I epoxied it. My refrigerator is stainless steel, so i was a little concerned about residue. The epoxy instructions said it would take 24 hours to set so i needed to keep it in place for that time. Just to be certain, i let it set for three days. After about 70 hours, i removed the tape. The handle had not budged from when it was taped and there was no residue anywhere the tape had been placed. For me, the tape worked like a charm.
