Great Masking Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this masking tape a few weeks ago. So far I have been impressed. The masking tape sticks well to hang things on the wall. When no longer in use it easily is removed from the wall and does not leave behind a residue. I would recommend this product to anyone looks for a great masking tape! It gets the job done.

No Messy Residue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a free sample of Scotch Contractor Grade Masking Tape 2020 to use with my next painting project. It works like a dream to keep detail paint from spreading onto the taped surfaces; especially important when painting in the kitchen next to the built in stove. Highlight? Easy to remove with no sticky residue left behind. Perfect product for do-it-yourself home projects with paint!

Really good masking tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really top quality masking tape -- it's sticky enough to do projects that require masking tape (like taping off stripes to paint on a wall) but it's not so sticky that it pulls paint off the wall when you remove the tape. I don't really understand how it works because it's nice and sticky yet not TOO sticky. I even stuck it on a piece of copy paper and it didn't rip it.

Worked as expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Scotch Contractor Grade masking tape free of charge to review. Masking tape can sometimes be too cheap to use, but this performed as it should. I came off the roll easily, stuck well and came off easily when the project was done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the products I received were horrible, total dumb and trash. Didn't work at all. They are totally trash and should be thrown in the garbage. Nobody should ever buy it. Just a total waste of my time in this Community.

Sticks Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tape on my carpet when I painted the floor boards in my spare bedroom. No paint leaked through like other brands have. So worth it to spend the time to put this masking tape down before painting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use masking tape for many different things. I always have a roll or two around. Scotch Brand always works well. I have tried other brands because the store I was buying it didn't have Scotch and they just don't perform as well.

Flexible usage, strong hold! Clean removal!

Bought this for use in a high school science class fora variety of uses relating to the students conducting experiments and needing to temporarily secure equipment to lab tables and to other pieces of equipment. Has worked well for that.
Question: is this tape recyclable in the traditional sense? Biodegradable within a reasonable length of time (not decades)?
