THE tape for your painting projects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tape for painting and projects. It rips off easily. And adheres to surfaces perfectly. Just remember with this kind of tape it’s important to remove from your walls as soon as your project has dried. Otherwise you run the risk of the tape leaving residue, taking paint off your wall, or becoming difficult to remove in general. Overall great product.

Great value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ScotchBlue PROSharp Works amazing every time without any issues with the glue or coming up after application. Great quality and super durable. Great value . This roll has plenty of tape, and the 2 inch is what I need for the borders. It sticks well and has sealed off the edge from paint drips. I removed tape before paint dries to avoid the paint tearing. Highly recommended.

Use on any surface

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t always use painters tape, but when I do it’s Scotch. The ScotchBlue Prosharp is the best of the best. It can be used on any surfaces. It’s so easy to apply and remove. It provides a straight paint line with no bleeding and is a great value for the size of the roll.

Durable and stays in place. Must have for painters

He uses it for all his painting projects and on the job when painting buildings, houses, etc. Stays where you put it and that’s a huge necessity for my husbands paint jobs. Keeps the mess at bay by staying in place. Good value for the price. All around highly recommend this tape.

Decent tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fiancee and I are undergoing a DIY remodel and have a LOT of painting to do. We first tested our paint sample on a couple of walls using this tape. The first wall we tested we still got some fuzz but the second time it came out way sharper. Unsure if the first time was just a user error or the wall texture but seems like now that we have gotten the hang of it, this should go more smoothly. The wide width is nice. I guess the bottom line is, it does give you sharp lines but just know it will still take proper prep and some practice. I'll also note here that my fiancee said he still prefers frog tape.

Great tape

Preferred tape to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use blue tape for my engraving projects as this is the best yet my laser burns easily right thru it and I'm able to paint my lines with out it running under the tape I'll be buying this tape for now on as it sticks good and comes off easy not leaving a residue behind

Worth the money if you need the the sharpest edges

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im not a pro painter, so I need every edge, no pun intended. This is a great tool for what it is. The “sharp line” and “edge guard” marketing is accurate - I found the line to be exceedingly sharp for painting purposes. I’m using this in a kitchen to repaint cabinets, refinish Formica counters and get the surrounding wall painted. 3 different materials/finishes so I need the separations to be crisp. I tested it for painting a last coat on trim that was tight to the wall too. This tape is much tackier than standard painters’ tape, yet more forgiving if you apply and reapply it. The extra tackiness can be slightly frustrating if you need to shimmy it under/behind a surface as it will tend to stick if just a small amount touches. But I think that’s how they achieve the sharp lines - each square millimeter is grabbing so good that no gaps/bubbles can form. Overall a good product
