Bought this yesterday. Used it last night and today. Went to take the tape off and it took off my paint on the wall.

BAD tape if you want to keep the PAINT

DO NOT USE THIS TAPE. If you want your paint to stay where you are taping off, DO NOT USE THIS TAPE ScotchBlue ProSharp Painter’s tape 2093 I bought because I was fooled by the word PRO and thought this was the best but it was so sticky and that should have been my first sign, maybe I got a bad batch but every roll took all my paint right OFF.

Hard to Remove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Blue ProSharp painters tape is marketed for its precision and clean lines, but my experience with it was less than satisfactory, particularly concerning its removal. While the initial application goes smoothly, adhering well to surfaces and providing a sharp paint edge, removing the tape poses significant challenges.
Upon removal, I found that the tape clung stubbornly to the surfaces, often tearing in the process. This resulted in pieces of tape remaining stuck, which required additional effort to scrape off. Moreover, the adhesive residue left behind was frustrating and necessitated further cleaning, detracting from the overall efficiency of the painting project.
In summary, while Scotch Blue ProSharp may deliver on its promise of creating sharp paint lines, the difficulty in removing the tape without damage or residue makes it less appealing for future use. If ease of removal is a top priority, you may want to explore other options.

Sharp lines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very please with how well this worked. Other tapes don’t seem to have as good of a seal. If used properly your lines will turn out crisp and clean. I used this to paint a striped wall and am happy with the result.

Crisp clear paint lines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using scotch blue Pro sharp tape for many different things. My girls like to hang pictures in the room and scotch tape usually peels the paint off. They know if they want to hang something up to use the scotch blue tape which prevents peeling. Also it is perfect when painting a room. You can paint right over the tape and peel it off a couple minutes later for those crisp clear paint lines.
