I prefer to purchase recycled paper for the sake of sustainability & concern for the environment. Although it may not mean much in terms of quantity I in additioni purchase on a regular basis 100% recycled 3 tab file folders. These have not only a rough greyish look which I happen to like a good deal but are easily reusable as files. In fact I would like to see a similar greyish paper for general use. I'm not particularly a fan of pure white paper not only because white is a conventional non-color but I'm also concerned about the amount of bleach that has to be added to make it white.
We should all be doing our part to preserve this earth and buying recycled paper (and other things) for our businesses is an easy way to do so. While it is a bit more expensive the more of us who do it the less expensive it becomes. I shop at Staples because so many of their products are recycled. In fact I do not buy any paper product (folders storage boxes envelopes business cards) that are not recycled and I recommend we all look to see how much of it is post-consumer. The more the better.
I use this copy paper in my office and am pleased that there's an ecofriendly source out there. Can't tell the difference between this 100% recycled paper and regular paper. Never jams.
I believe if we create a demand for recycled paper then more of it will get recycled and paper manufacturers will look for access to recycled paper. Look for sales and stock up esp. buy 2 get one free!
