causes jams

We kept getting jams in our printer/copy machine and called the tech guy to come out and check it out. He noticed how much the paper was curling. This was especially true when we were printing double sided. We changed the orientation of the paper trays and it cut down on some of the curling but then we realized it was this paper. The technician said it was due to humidity but when we use a different brand we do not get the jamming problems. I have been happy with Staples customer support but I will not be buying their recycled paper any more.

I love using this recycled paper for all the documents for my Friends of Vernon Park meetings and other community purposes. I want to be as environmentally sound as possible while not short-changing the need of our members to have good information. Thanks

REALLY EXPENSIVE PAPER!!!?!?!?!?!?!

I buy this to be environmental and use both sides then recycle it again but it is really expensive for the paper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great paper though just too expensive!!

too high a price

This paper is fine for my purposes - household and personal use and a little for handouts when teaching. I'm committed to buying recycled products and using less but still had an experience of sticker shock when I bought my most recent ream of paper. I'll have to check the price of similar products at other office supply stores. Why should it cost SO much more to do the right thing?

Paper Curls and is wrinkled

I want to purchase 100% recycled / post-consumer products for office use. We have been ordering this paper but it is not constructed well. Problems: It curls while sitting in the paper tray of our multifunctional devise causing paper jams. Toner doesn't print consistently on it. Almost every ream of paper has a part of the ream wrinkled when we open it--don't know if that is a storage problem on Staples part. It is so thin that the multifunctional devise rollers grab multiple pages at the same time so blank pages are added to any multiple paged document that you are printing meaning that entire document has to be reprinted. It does work in our stand alone printers so we will continue to use it there but in our multifunctional printers it doesn't work.

100% recycled!

Yes! 100% recycled office paper! Why would you use new timber products when Staples gives you the option of purchasing 100% recycled paper? This paper works in copiers and printers and faxes and anywhere/anyway else you would use 8 1/2 x 11 white paper - and every bit as well as non-recycled paper. It's good quality paper. What could be better than saving trees minimizing your impact on the environment and getting a quality product? Go 100 recycled!. And don't forget to recycle your used paper.
