No one has an excuse not to use this paper for their business. It's only a few extra dollars a case and it's 100% recycled. IT DOES NOT LOOK RECYCLED-it's crisp and clean.

great for everyday copying

Doesn't do very well with double-sided copying - the ink shows through sometimes. Would be great to have a heavier option paper also 100% recycled content.

Is it really 20lb paper?

As much as I want to love this 100% recycled paper I’m shocked by how thin it feels. I do as much 2-sided printing as possible and the copy shows through from one side to the other. Even when I only print on 1 side it feels like it’s been printed on toilet paper. And I bought a whole case of this... Bummer.

Be a Leader - Lower the Cost of Progress

While it is great to find a 100% recycled product on the shelves - Staples pretty much drives the consumer away with crazy high prices. They could take the lead and offer a high percentage post consumer content paper for little more than the regular stuff and help consumers open their eyes.

I agree with the previous reviewer why

I agree with the previous reviewer why so expensive? The non-recycled counterpart is this: [...] about [$]. I want to use recycled paper for obvious reasons but the price deters me.

Use recycled paper

If you are behind environmental improvement and recycle "stuff" from your house and office don't forget to complete the cycle and actually use products made from recycled material. I have been using this bright 100% recycled paper for years and find it totally acceptable. Staples also has recycled note pads and envelopes to help make an active market for the valuable business of recycling so that the folks who process the paper you have recycled ultimately have folks who buy their products. Do your part at both ends of the cycle to help the environment

100% Recycled Plus
on October 23, 2007

I use about a box of paper a week. I was feeling guilty about my paper usage and for years have been making file copies on the back of paper that I had already printed on the one side. Even though I was already recycling in this manner I was looking for more ways to cut down on my environmental impact. When I spotted the Staples 100% Recycled Copy Paper I knew I had found another way to help. The paper is bright and compares well to the regular Staples Copy Paper. And I still use it a second time through the copier using the blank side - i figure that's what the bypass is for!

100% Recycled Copy Paper

I always comparison shop not so much about price (although that is always an important consideration) as about the quality of the product. First and foremost what is its impact on human health and the environment. In the case of copy paper I had a choice between 30% recycled and 100% recycled. The price difference wasn't significant so I chose 100% recycled and have been very satisfied with the paper.
