We ALWAYS use 100% Recycled...

We use 4 to 6 boxes of paper pre month. We highly recomment using 100% letter size and 30% (that's the most they offer) legal size paper. With the amount of paper required by mortgage and escrow companies it is nice to be able to save one or two trees every month when we print the documents.

100% recycled paper

I have used Staples 100% recycled paper for many years since consumers need to complete the cycle and actually use recycled products. This paper is bright and has served all my printing and copying needs all this time. The extra cost is not relevant if you are providing a market for the recycling effort!

I wanted to love this paper but...

I wanted to love this paper since I'm trying to switch to as many recycled products as possible but it curls so badly coming out of my printers and copiers that it causes the copies coming OUT to jam. It's also very difficult to feed a copy into the single sheet feeder due to the curl. I'm going to try the 50% recycled to see if it's better.

This 100% recycled paper is very high--performing. It's a good weight doesn't curl and very rarely jams in the printer.

Another way to easily help the planet.

This is a fantastic idea. Recycle paper to make paper!! This is another efficient and easy way to help reduce my carbon foot print on this planet. As an author I am definitely going to use copy paper working on my books. The great thing is by using this type of Staples' 100% recycled copy paper I am reducing my sense of "carbon foot print guilt"! Not only am I avoiding the use of virgin paper use (less new trees are killed) but I am also helping the next generation by closing the "environmental recycling loop". I am using the products that are being made from the paper that is put into the recycling bins. This paper makes excellent copies. In addition is travels through the copy machine perfectly. Sincerely Mrs. Garie Thomas-Bass (author of the book: A Season of Gratitude a Day at a Time (AKA: A giraffe named Gratitude))

Even better than the regular
on February 26, 2008

The Staples brand of 100% recycled is the best I've tried. While it seems a little thinner and lighter than regular paper that's actually a big plus because it (a) is much easier to staple large documents and (b) doesn't take as much space in my binders and other archives. Having used this in various HP and Brother printers I haven't noticed any difficulties with paper jams or tearing. I've been using this almost exclusively for a year now and I can say that this paper has proved to be quite durable.

Used to Love It
on July 30, 2013

We used to use this product until Staples changed vendors at the beginning of 2013. What used to be a recycled product that looked and felt like a regular copy paper became rough to the feel and more yellow in appearance. Very disappointed the the change. I switched to a sugar cane paper since the change and haven't used since.
