Hate the new formula!!

I hate the new formula. The old formula was perfect; subtle scent and cleansed my hands without drying them out. This new scent is too strong for me to even try it. I don't care how good of a product something is; if it has a strong fragrance, I will not use it. Until the old formula comes back, I'll be painstakingly trying to find a replacement. I just don't understand companies wanting to change something that's worked for years.

Nauseating scent!

The soothing aloe hand soap had been my family’s favorite for many years. NO LONGER. The scent is now so strong it is unusable; it lingers for a long time, even after repeated washing in a neutral cleanser. It’s nauseating. Many people are sensitive to fragrance and this was one of the few liquid hand soaps we could use. Softsoap has many highly scented options. It’s disappointing that they can’t leave one soap useable for us.

New smell is too strong

My family has very specific sensory needs when it comes to things like this. This has been the ONLY soap that we all agree on. So you can imagine they now I am in tears that they added a new scent to what was the perfect soap. Whatever they added has a lingering smell, which causes problems for us. I am being entirely serious when I say that this has been an awful experience for my family. I'm panicked to find an alternative. Thanks for giving me one more thing to do.

This is a failure

There is something about the new formula for the Aloe soft soap that has turned my hands into a red, raw, itchy and flaky mess. It looks like I have red gloves on - the color change stops at my wrists where I stop washing with your soap. In addition, the overpowering fragrance lingers for hours and is, to be blunt, unpleasant. I can't believe that after all the negative reviews for the new fragrance/formula that it is still being produced.
I do not need your customer service to tell me to try another of your highly fragranced products. I need your company to admit it made a mistake. This is a failure. Please go back to the original formula which was moisturizing and barely fragranced.

New Aloe Vera Scent has ruined the product

I have used the aloe vera softsoap for years because it is the only handsoap I have found that does not result in sandpaper, eczema-riddled, dishydrotic skin on my hands. The new scent has ruined my go-to product. I'm not sure what I will do now, other than buy up as many packages of the old product as I can. Why ruin this product by adding a strong scent when you already have so many other scented items?

Perfection has been ruined!

What was once perfect has been ruined!!!! The previous formulation had a subtle, pleasant scent, left skin supple and was beloved by all in our household. This new formulation has a strong, cheap, unpleasant scent, leaves skin dry, and triggers allergies/ headaches in family members. In the past, we, like other reviewers have remarked, would go to multiple stores if necessary to procure our beloved Soft Soap Soothing Clean. However, not any longer. Unfortunately, we will have to look for a replacement brand/product.

New formula is horrible, scent is horrible

Our family has been using this soap for over 15 years. We used to love that it was gentle yet cleansing, with an incredibly mild scent. The new formula has a horrible, overpowering scent, and the formula itself dries our hands out. We all have sensitive skin and eczema, and this used to be our go to soap. We will no longer be using this soap unless the formula changes back. Please change it back! It was such a good thing, and now it's ruined. For now we will be purchasing generic and beginning our search for the perfect soap (which is nearly impossible, except for the old formula).
