Old formula was awesome - New formula is awful!

The old formula was amazing! I am very sensitive to scents and get migraines easily, so I am very picky when it comes to soap. The old formula was my absolute favorite! It had a nice light scent and left my hands feeling soft and hydrated. The new formula is awful! Not only does it have a stronger scent that bothers me, but it also leave my hands feeling very dry. Now I have to go to store to store searching for the old label. I don’t know what I will do when I run out of my bottles of the old formula, but I will definitely not be re-purchasing any of the new fragrance. Why would you change something that is obviously loved by so many?! Please listen to your reviews and bring back the old formula, or at least something similar to it!

Don’t get it on your hands!

At a loss how this new formulation came to be. The smell alone would have decimated an army of lab mice! Hopefully these folks return to their senses and gets back to making the soap we’ve enjoyed using for years. In the mean time avoid coming in contact. But if you must, wear gloves!

Best soap on the market ruined by new scent

I have been using this soap for years. I would imagine that I have purchased 50-80 refill bottles in the last 15 years or so. The most recent refill bottle I purchased had a very nasty surprise, a new scent. It's overpowering! The worst part about it is that if I wash my hands and try to hand-feed my dogs anything they can clearly smell it and they dislike it more than I do. I'm going to have to try Equate or the imposter brand I saw at Menards now. I used to love this soap, but I'll have to move to an inferior product that hasn't ruined their soap by adding an overpowering and very artificial aroma. I am very disappointed to say the least.

Yet Another Perfect Product Destroyed

I have used this soap exclusively for at least 15 years. I was elated when I first discovered it because it had no lingering scent, cleaned effectively, had a rich, creamy texture, and never dried out my hands. I wash my hands frequently throughout the day and this soap always left my hands feeling clean and refreshed. Imagine my surprise when I opened my latest refill bottle and was overpowered by some sort of strange sour apple smell that lingered and left my hands feeling dry after using it. The old formula was perfection and the new formula is horrid. Count me as one of the many dissatisfied customers that now has to hunt for a new brand of soap. Highly aggravating and disappointing.

Horrible headache inducing Scent!

I honestly do not understand why you would change a light clean smelling soap (which I've purchased by the case for almost 10 years or more) to this HORRENDOUS smell you guys have formulated. It is so overpowering and honestly sickening to smell. This is the first time I've ever washed my hands with one of your products, and had to go rewash my hands with dishwashing liquid to calm the stench. And it still stays around. The old version of this soap was the only soap that didn't flare up my dermatitis on my hands. Guess who is broke out after using this new product? The smell is so nauseating it gives me a headache. What were you all thinking? So very disappointed!

Never Again!

Our family has been using this product for years as it has been a soap with a very subtle smell that does not cause our allergies or migraines to flare up. However, with this new change of scent, no one in our family can use this soap any longer, as it not only dries out our hands, but also causes serious migraines, and our allergies to flare up and the terrible smell with not wash away. We will no longer be buying this product! Please return to the original scent and formula so that we can return to using your products. This was a terrible choice to try a new formula fragrance on a soap that many people with sensitivities use.

Why did you change it? The new "fragrance" is horrible...

I "USED TO" love this soap - it was my go to... It made my hands soft and I loved the understated fragrance. Unfortunately now it has gone from a 5 to a 0... Not only is the new fragrance horrible, but something else has changed and it is drying out my hands. I don't know if this change was made due to supply restrictions (and I actually hope it is) so that you can (PLEASE!!) go back to the original fragrance and formula.

Well, clearly, someone at your company had the bright idea to make a new scent for this product. How did this even get passed? There was NOTHING wrong with the old scent. Now the new product has an absurd amount of cheap perfume, and the soap now totally dries your skin. I am totally allergic to this soap now. THANKS!! I have broken out in rashes all over my hands, and my skin is cracking due to this soap. Also the scent is making me sneeze & had to take an allergy pill to clam down the symptoms. I have been a customer for many years. And you just lost me. And by the looks of all the reviews on this new version. I am not alone! Shameful! Admit your mistake, and go back to the old formula!
