Terrible new scent. Nothing like the original.

This used to be the only hand soap I purchased, but I haven’t since the scent change. It’s not even kind of the same product and I am incredibly disappointed. The new scent is terrible, overbearing, and lingers in a bad way.
Please please please bring back the original. Please.

Itching all over

Used it in all dispenser for 10 years at least. Suddenly I am itching all over. We are careful to not change products as husband has allergies. This time it was me but took a bit of work to figure out the product had changed. It caused the same itching that the balsam scent soap I bought for powder room last Christmas. Of course then it was only the skin on my hands that was sore. What have you done!!!
Cons: New fragrance causes body itching .

Never knew I could be so disappointed by soap

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING OLD FORMULA BACK!!! How many people need to complain before you will realize it was a HUGE mistake to switch this!?! I echo other reviews that this was the only soap I could use that didn’t irritate my skin. I really don’t know what I’m going to do now. So many people relied on your company to provide a quality product that was gentle but effective. How could you abandon that?!

The old scent was perfect. The new scent makes me nauseous. Wish the company cared about consumers opinions. Be big enough to admit you have made a horrible mistake and be willing to change back to the original scent that everyone loves.

Not what is't cracked up to be.!

I have used the regular aloe vera Softsoap for years and love it. This new version cracks the skin on my hands and the scent is overpowering.

Horrible new scent!

My family is so disappointed with the new fragrance of Soothing Clean Aloe Vera! It is so perfumed there is nothing soothing about it. As someone who is very sensitive to strongly scented soaps, I depended on this one because the fragrance was so mild. Now I am currently looking for a replacement. Please bring back the old formula!

Find a solution to the strong new fragrance

The new fragrance for all of your hand soap line is bad. It's bad enough to have perfume that sticks to your hands like glue after washing them. But what's worse is the excruciating headache that it triggers almost immediately following that wash. Then comes the burning and red rash all over your hands and wrists. I cannot believe a hand soap that is meant to clean your hands of germs and dirt has turned into a perfume substance that causes health problems. Especially a soap that I have used and loved for 2 decades. Since it appears that your company is not interested in doing anything to rectify the problem, like ditching the strong fragrance and returning it back to its intended purpose (soap not perfume). Then how about producing a line of UNSCENTED hand soap that is strictly SOAP?

Disappointed

We have used Softsoap for years, was never a problem. I used to buy it for my kids' classrooms because the school soap was causing allergic reactions. We could always count on the mild scent and cleaning ability. I did not think twice when I saw the update, but right away the scent was chemical smelling, and it did not feel right. A few days later, my hands were dried out and stinging. I thought it could possibly be some other reason but then my husband came to me concerned his hands were torn up the same way. We stopped use and the condition went away. Thank goodness my daughters are still using a bottle of the old formula. They are particularly sensitive.
Seeing the many recent, negative reviews here describing the same has confirmed my suspicions. I am not usually one to complain or even write reviews, but this hurt.
So today I will be searching for a new hand soap. A reliable product has gone bad.
