Please listen to us-Bring back the original

The new "fresh scent" is terrible. Why the change? Are you listening to your long time customers practically begging you to bring back the original soap so many of us used for years? I cannot purchase the product any more. I ended up donating the bottles I purchased before realizing the added scent. Please listen to your customers. Finding an alternative is very challenging. You had the best product available...."had" being the key word.

Loyally bought this for years as me and a few family members have sensitive skin. The new formula is terrible and the scent lingers. I had bought several bottles before realizing they were a different formula with a horrible perfume fragrance. I threw them all away. Currently looking for a new brand as this stuff is now terrible.
Cons: Dries Skin, Unpleasant Smell

The New Scent is Horrible

The new scent introduced in the Aloe Vera hand soap is horrible. The only reason I purchase this before is the Aloe Vera and the smell. Now I have to find the soap somewhere else.

Horrible new scent and formula! Why?!?! Change back!

The new scent and formula is awful! The smell is way too strong and lingering. It smells like a cheap perfume that drives you to tears. The formula is also not the same. It is not gentle and very drying. I can't use this anymore and we have been using only this brand for years! Shame on you to change a good thing. Terrible marketing and from the reviews it looks as though many others feel the same. Unfortunately, your poor marketing team has caused you to lose customers/buyers like me. :((

Please change back the fragrance formula of the Soothing Aloe hand soap or sell an original version! 😭Every friend I know who uses this hand soap agrees the new scent is awful. I need to wash my hands frequently and it was the only hand soap mild enough for my skin and now it is irritating. I thought this is supposed to be "softsoap" not "harshsoap"! Plus the original scent meant a lot to me it was the nostalgic smell of my childhood. Why change a perfectly fine and classic product like this? If you have to make changes just make a different product so people who like the new version can buy

New formula smells AWFUL, and burns my skin!

New scent smells AWFUL and I’m not buying it anymore. I’ve used liquid Softsoap for many many years, and it was perfect for my sensitive skin. Now Colgate has change the formula, and I don’t know why, but it smells really bad, and it burns. I’ve always purchased 3 to 4, 50 oz bottles at a time, to make sure my family never ran out. Now, I have to switch brands, to find something completely new. Soft soap - aloe vera, used to be perfect for me and my family, and now it’s just awful. Colgate, please fix this! Go back to the original formula.

This was the best soap until the formula changed

We had a lot of the large refill size bottles used to fill up all of our soap dispensers. The only product we have used for years because i have sensitive skin and many of the other brands make my skin crack from being dry and bleed. Plus, i loved how there was no major scent or perfume. Apparently we finished up our supply of softsoap we had on hand, so we bought another bottle. The bottle looked a little different, but the product inside looked the same. Then noticed that there was a very strong scent left on my hands. I figured someone in the house had mixed up the soap dispensers and put in thr wrong soap. It didnt take long before my hands started to become very dry and crack. This wasnt an issue before... then inlook online and apparently nobody likes the change in formula. We all agree that it smells bad and is harsh on the skin. This was a very popular product that many people with allergies or other sensitivities would use because it was gentle and unscented. Not anymore. Gonna find a new brand and throw this one away. Boooooo!
