Adhesive will not stick

I bought this product a couple days ago, but I could not get the adhesive to stick to my ceramic tile wall at all. Even though I followed all of the directions carefully, I could not get the shelf to hold its own weight for more than 10 seconds. I thought I might have received an old batch of adhesive strips, but it seems like many other people have had this same problem too, and they could not get it to work with new strips either. Overall, I am very disappointed in the quality of the adhesive. I expected more from 3M/Command.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not adhere to tile

I had this caddy in an old shower and loved it, so bought it again when I moved to a new place. I followed all the instructions and hung up the shelf and then waited 24 hours to let it adhere completely. I put shampoo, conditioner, and face wash on the caddy the next day and that night it crashed to the ground. The items on the caddy weighed maybe 3 lbs all together. I am very disappointed in 3M with how their strips do not adhere to the tile in my shower as I previously loved this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical at first about a shower caddy held up by Command adhesive strips, but I am now very impressed with it! 3M gave me this caddy to review, and I was hesitant to even apply it to the wall, but upon doing so, I was immediately happy with this unit. Unlike the "hang-over-the-shower-head" units, you don't need to worry about carefully placing items on the caddy to keep it balanced– it's not going anywhere! As you can see in the attached photo, this caddy easily holds two 40 Fluid ounce bottles of shampoo & condition along with other items, and I don't have to worry about how they are arranged on the caddy. I'm very pleased with it. The only suggestion I could make is to include a 2nd set of adhesive strips, in case the user wants to move the caddy to another location...
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this satin nickel free hanging bath caddy from 3M in return of an honest review. I must say I was very surprised by how nice this is. No screws, no tools required. it says rust resistant so hopefully that is true. It was easy to install and everything you need is included! Highly recommend this! It would be nice to have a little hook on the side for a loofa to hand or razor but otherwise great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteered to test this product at the request of 3M and received it at no cost to myself. I followed the instructions carefully as I was concerned about the ability of the "sticky" strips holding the mounting brackets to the wall.. My bathroom shower has no tile, but smooth glass and synthetic marble walls.. First I made sure the glass was free from any soap or calcium deposits and then (step 2) wiped the surface with alcohol (several times) before pressing the caddy (steps 3-4) to the wall. Then followed the remaining steps (5-7). It appeared to be securely attached to the glass wall.. Two days later, I loaded the caddy with shampoo bottles and took my shower.. The next morning my wife called me to the shower. The caddy and all the bottles were lying on the shower floor.. I'll visit the hardware store and see if I can locate replacement sticky strips and give it another try; after all it is a very attractive caddy and I'd like to see it work..

Versatile Caddy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a volunteer to evaluate 3M products, the company recently sent a free product - the Command Bath Satin Nickel Caddy. The product arrived with a bent corner but didn't detract from the functionality of the caddy.
This caddy is not only useful in the bathroom but in other areas of my home. I ended up using it inside a cabinet to house a variety of cleaning supplies/spray bottles. After following the installation directions, the shelf/caddy is able to hold a couple of spray bottles and sponges. I added a couple of plastic hooks to hang brushes and a duster. It makes my cleaning supplies more organized and easily accessible, The chrome/satin nickel finish fits in any décor and is a great addition to any home.

However, I would have liked it better if it didn't have so many nooks that can become dirty. Especially for something that is used in the shower.
