I needed a ruler for general purposes and this one perfectly meets my need. It is both sturdy and flexible composition. It appears I will have it for a long time.

This is a nice ruler. Does its job well. However I would have preferred if it was two-sided rather than just one-sided with a cork backing. I like a good metal ruler that I can use in conjunction with an X-Acto knife rather than inadertently carving up a plastic ruler.
