This is a nice ruler. Does its job well. However I would have preferred if it was two-sided rather than just one-sided with a cork backing. I like a good metal ruler that I can use in conjunction with an X-Acto knife rather than inadertently carving up a plastic ruler.

It would take MAJOR abuse to damage it. The measurements are precise and easy to read. Th cork back makes it nonslip. Five stars means I obviously like it and recommend it!

I’ve used the "Non Slip Cork Based Office Ruler "at work for 15 years. When I created a home office I didn’t consider purchasing any other ruler but this one. Its quality with a solid metal construction long lasting numbers and non-slip cork backing makes it a quality product (the 15 year old ruler is in as good shape as the new one!) Did I mention it surpasses a typical wood ruler (which can break) with its long-lasting imprinted numbers. I LOVE it and though it will last for many many years I won’t buy any other brand of ruler again. Surely when I recommend this item to others they will undoubtedly feel the same way.
