Disappointed in the lack of options in the app

It works fine but the app is very basic. Only 2 font styles to choose from and the maximum text size XL is still not very big. I have an old manual dymo with about 10 different font styles and font sizes and with better quality printing than this. Comparing it to my old dymo which still works after 20 years, this product is a major step backward.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thing!! I have an older DYMO with buttons and it is such a pain - although I didn’t really realize it until using this magical device. This is SO EASY with the app. I like that I can make labels with 2 lines instead of one big long label. The icons are cute and I love the various font options. My whole house is going to be labeled before long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This label maker is very cute, and compact for easy storage. I can see how it would be very useful for parents to ensure all their kids items are easily idenitifyable. It is also handy for kitchen organization. I think it is a great tool!

You register it on their site, per the user friendly instructions, and connect the device to the app in your phone. The app allows different some font sizes and styles. Super super easy to use and now I will go labeling everything in my house!

Labels don’t peel

Dymo LetraTag. Great App. Great label maker. Easy to use. But the backing does not come off the label. The tape I’m using came with the machine. There is no “split” in the back to peel back. It simply will not come off. So at this point the labels are not usable. Disappointed.

To remove the backing from a DYMO tape, follow these steps:
1. Print your label using your DYMO label maker.
2. Once the label is printed, use a pair of scissors or a sharp knife to cut off the excess tape on each end of the label.
3. Then, turn the label over and locate the split in the middle of the backing.
4. Use your fingernail or a pair of tweezers to peel the backing away from the tape at one end of the label.
5. Slowly and carefully peel the backing away from the tape, working your way down the label towards the other end.
6. Once the backing is removed, you can apply the label to your desired surface.
Note: It's important to peel the backing away slowly and carefully to avoid tearing the tape or leaving any adhesive residue on the label. If you do encounter any adhesive residue, you can use a cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol or an adhesive remover to clean it off.

Great concept & product.

I bought this 6 months ago. Works beautifully. Much simpler to construct labels using the phone app. Lots of borders, icons & options. Excellent buy & value.

amazing and portable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that I can use this anywhere as long as I have my Bluetooth on. It helps me keep my house better organized with reminders of where things go and helps the kids as well as they're learning to read. I would definitely recommend to others the only issue I had was it doesn't always stick the greatest on plastic products
