Paper not as smooth as I expected

The product arrived quickly. I wanted to use these for a special project but the paper feels a little rough not smooth as I expected. I probably will order a different brand. I like a smooth surface that my pen or pencil can write on easily.

I buy these writing pads all the time. They're great for general purpose office use nothing fancy but decent quality construction for the price. Nearly all my staff uses them.
