What would we do without paper!

I work for a computer software company and we still rely on paper! It used to kill me when I'd have to order these paper pads for my salespeople but then one day I thought about how long we have used paper to convey ideas thoughts and information when we couldn't call or speak the words. It reminded me of one of our son on one of our camping trips and for some reason my husband and I got separated from the kids on a walk in the woods. We were panic stricken at first and then my husband spotted a piece of white birch tree bark that our eldest son had written on "sorry we wandered off we're headed back to camp." He had just read something in school about how the early pioneers would use birch bark for paper! I myself grab a paper pad when I need to assemble my thoughts on a subject. Who hasn't drawn a line down the page and titled the two sections "Pros" and "Cons"! I've also written and have received many love letters that conveyed feelings that could have never been expressed face to face. So now when I purchase this lovely product from Staples I don't mind as much because really...what would we do without paper!
Great for being 100% recycled but the paper is a bit thin. Good for notes you don't plan to keep or scratch paper. Ampad Embassy pads are a better choice for writing.
Awesome we love them and people in the office could not do their daily task without them.

Feels funny to the touch

I ordered recycled paper because it is the right thing to do. The paper does feel a little weird but not rough. I got used to it in a day and I no longer worry about it.
I was very disappointed in the Tru Red notepad. the cardboard back is so flimsy as to make the product pretty much useless. I'd used another model of the Tru Red line before that was very good but it was no longer available. What's the point of a notepad like this if the back is so flimsy you can't use it even on a desk? This gets No Stars from me.
