Terrible new scent

Terrible new scent gives me headaches. I've been buying this specific soap for more than a decade because it had been such a mild scent. Returning this to the store for a refund.
Please change it back, there are plenty of scented options and it was nice to have one that was mild.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It itrites and makes my skin red and the fragrance is so strong it lingers for a long time even when I eat . Please stop this new fragrance . I feel intoxicated

Used this for years in all my soap dispensers. The scent now is so overbearing even my pet is repelled by it. I wear contacts and this irritates my eyes when I put them in and remove them. Why why why did you change a great product? Every time I enter the bathroom it reminds me of my grandma’s house. Looking for an option that I can tolerate.

What happened to the cute little insert with the fish on it? Used to be different ones you could buy, now I just see one and it’s on a label, not inside the bottle like it used to be

New Fragrance is a Flop

I just bought the 50 oz refill aquarium series not knowing Softsoap has changed the fragrance! (Apparently this happened some time ago, but I just ran out of the other I bought.) So disappointed! The previous kind had a unique fresh, clean fragrance that I liked better than any other soap brand. This new fragrance smells like cucumber. I'll be returning it this week. Sorry Softsoap-I loved the original kind, and this new one probably cleans just as good, but I don't like how it smells. Please consider bringing back the original.

Still smells horrid.

Still not bringing back the Original Aquarium scent?! I was also a loyal 20+ year user of the Original Aquarium soft soap. When I contacted the company a few years ago about the change they told me everyone loves the new scent and it was requested to be made to smell stronger. Well, everyone does NOT love the new scent. Is it that hard to make both? From the amount of negative complaints here, I suspect you’d still habe enough buyers to make a profit. Anyhow - new stuff still stinks something fierce with a sharp chemical aftersmell. It’s just gross.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The new fragrance is terrible!

I am sensitive to fragrances and have been using Softsoap for years, because it cleans effectively, lathers well, and does not have a strong fragrance. It was my favorite kind of liquid soap--until now. The new fragrance is too strong and irritates me to the point of triggering headaches; it's also unpleasant and cheap smelling. Therefore, I will not be buying this soap anymore unless the fragrance is changed to something better and milder. Please bring back the previous fragrance; it was perfect. As the saying goes, "If it isn't broken, don't fix it."
Pros: Attractive Packaging, Cleans Effectively, Easy To Use, Long Lasting
Cons: Unpleasant Smell
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
