Matte finish & write-ability:
The matte, invisible finish blends smoothly with paper, making it barely noticeable. Writing on the tape was easy, and pen and pencil markings were clear without smearing.

Amazing Writeable tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Staples invisible tape is wonderful and what a better time of year to try this out. Unsure if you are like me but Christmas wrapping is not necessarily my favorite project. I normally end up with balls of tape stuck places because it did not stick to the wrapping paper or tags.
Let me say I know tape is not sexy or fun, but this Staples Invisible tape is wonderful. First of all, I love the matte finish and that it stuck to the package and not me. I was able to do easily gab the tape for sealing packages, adding tags.
What I also found is you can write on this tape, and it stays and did not smudge. Have you ever gotten to where you needed to go with presents and tags fell or well just in case I out names in the tape on the bottom of the paper this way no, "Oh that is not your gift sorry"
I was also lucky to have this tape available when I was making copies and accidentally tore one of the pages. I used this tape hoping the tape lines would not show on the copy and it did not at all.
This is great tape whether for the office, home or crafts.

Multi Purpose and User Friendly Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying this 12 pack of tape and I was very impressed with how versatile it is! I found the tape cuts very easily and clean with no fraying. I have dexterity issues with my hands and sometimes it’s difficult for me to place a piece of tape down without it sticking together and this can be very frustrating. I was so thrilled because I found this tape to be strong enough to maintain its shape while I placed it down which ultimately prevented the tape from sticking to itself. The tape easily sticks to different types of surfaces including laminated paper, greeting cards, envelopes, and many other types of surfaces. This tape has a very strong hold! I love the matte finish because the tape is not seen when applied, it’s invisible which makes it perfect for crafts and cards. Another bonus about this tape is the fact that you can write on it! I used this to help seal the envelopes of our holiday cards and I was able to write personal notes on the tape to make it more festive. I used a ballpoint pen and the ink did not smear off of the tape at all! I also used this product with my kids to make small sequin collages inside of our holiday cards that we sent out. Our kids really enjoyed using this to help personalize our cards and we plan to use this tape for more crafts in the future.

Fantastic Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Staples Invisible Tape is really great. It sticks incredibly well and easily. I found that it tore cleanly and evenly with my dispenser. It was almost undetectable on plain paper, thanks to a matte finish. I used it for gift wrapping as well, and I was also impressed with how easy and wrinkle free it applied to the wrapping paper. It's really quite invisible there as well, living up to it's name. I look forward to continued use of this tape moving forward.

Surprisingly excellent product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't expect to be blown away by regular tape, but this is honestly a considerably better product than most other tape I have tried. It is stickier, thinner, and yet stronger than the scotch tape I usually use. It's texture is similar to magic tape but it feels a lot more durable. The thinness of it also makes it more transparent than other tapes. I was legitimately impressed!

Pretty dang good tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a matte finish tape person so this tape is exactly what I’d be looking for in store. So far so good with it’s stickiness, conveniently came during the holiday season so got a lot of use out of it and everything is staying closed! I haven’t needed to write anything on it just yet but it seems like the type of finish that would be perfect for ink or marker, which is the reason why I usually buy matte. Overall this is a pretty dang good tape!
PS - gotta love the extra included weighted tape holder! It’s the perfect complement to the tape haha!

Invisible but too thin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try out this tape for Christmas wrapping because I’m always on the lookout for a clear tape that blends in. I hate to say it but I was disappointed. The tape was too flimsy and no matter the length of the piece, it immediately stuck together or wrapped around my fingers. It made wrapping harder and frustrating. It was certainly sticky and did blend well with the wrapping paper but was too frustrating for me to use for a marathon wrapping session.

Excellent for gifts wrapping and labeling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased this tape for gift wrapping, and visually, it disappears completely in to the wrapping paper. I then reached for this tape to label food containers, and it works magically. I don’t have to pull out my label-maker and waste any of the expensive label tape role for temporary use. I use a fine tip permanent marker, and this tape held the ink perfectly without smudging. I was actually quite surprised. This tape is a more economical way to do quick labeling for either permanent or short term needs.
