Great sticky tape but it smells TERRIBLE! I had to move the unopened boxes feom my desk to another location. YUCK!

Good tape doesnt cut accurately

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tape feels and appears like other matte finish tapes. Easy to inbox and put in a dispenser. Holds well however it’s too thin and does not cut on the sharp strip it sometimes tears in a different spot. It’s annoying when I want an exact cut. It also leaves lines when cutting pieces (see first pic) its unsightly when it’s on an exterior piece of paper.

Great value for quality tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples invisible tape refill came with A LOT of extra rolls for all my home and office needs. I had so much of it that I was able to share several rolls with my 8yo daughter who is always depleting my tape supply for her paper crafts. What I liked the most about this tape is how sturdy it is - it doesn't tip into shreds when trying to pull a piece from the dispenser like a lot of other budget tapes do. Also due to the matter finish you can't see fingerprints that may come off with the tape as you remove it. Another bonus of the matter finish is that it doesn't reflect in bright light like other clear tapes do. You can see in the attached photos (Staples tape is on the left on both the desk and the paper) that the standard budget clear tape has a high gloss reflection with the flash on. Since the matte finish makes it easier to see the tape in other circumstances it mostly depends on your purposes but for general home and office needs I prefer the strength and finish of the Staples tape.

Great Matte Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the matte finish on this tape. If you prefer a matte look this is the tape for you! It’s got a good stick and works well for all kinds of home and office projects. The write-on surface is really convenient for temporary labeling. I’ve used the tape to hang seasonal decor at my office desk and my home desk and my kids have used it for school projects and everyday crafts—it holds up great. My favorite part? It fits in any standard tape dispenser! I popped it into my gift wrap dispenser which has a super sharp cutting edge and now it’s my favorite way to use it. With 24 refills in a pack I won’t be running out anytime soon!

Great tape for a lot of projects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 24 pack of tape is perfect! It will last so long in my household. I work from home and this tape was great for little needs especially ripped pages in my notebook. The tape was easy to use in a dispenser pretty easy to install in a dispenser and rips fine. My daughter used the tape for her arts and crafts projects. We used the tape to wrap a gift for a birthday party. I label baggies for my daughters arts and crafts supplies labeled meats for the freezer and labeled bins in her playroom. This will be perfect for wrapping Christmas gifts too. I normally don't prefer matte tape but it was way easier to write on for labeling and see on paper better. Overall very pleased and highly recommend.

Great all purpose tape

I even used it to put on top of the bandage that I was wearing on a cut finger. It is a great all purpose tape and it’s easy to write on definitely recommend

Tape refill that does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape refills were great. Easy to switch out with the empty roll. The best part was how easy the tab made it to find the start of the tape. I hate having to slide my finger around the edge of tape rolls looking for the little bump that signifies the end of the tape and this didn’t make me do that.

XL refill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So excited to test the Staples invisible tape refill through the Steller review testing panel. Overall I think this is a great product. The refill size is larger than the staple initial invisible tape size but it fits in the same tape dispenser. There is a bit of an offputting smell but I think that may just be the case with some office supplies. I like that it indicates what this tape may be best to use for “labeling organizing returning torn pages and more”. I would agree with that as I don’t think it’s a very good tape for gift wrapping. I think it’s great for crafts and daily office related use. I love that. It comes in a pack of 24 rolls —you’re able to buy in bulk without taking up too much space. Ultimately I would recommend this product.
