Matte finish & write-ability:
The matte, invisible finish blends smoothly with paper, making it barely noticeable. Writing on the tape was easy, and pen and pencil markings were clear without smearing.

Invisible but too thin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try out this tape for Christmas wrapping because I’m always on the lookout for a clear tape that blends in. I hate to say it but I was disappointed. The tape was too flimsy and no matter the length of the piece, it immediately stuck together or wrapped around my fingers. It made wrapping harder and frustrating. It was certainly sticky and did blend well with the wrapping paper but was too frustrating for me to use for a marathon wrapping session.

The best essential everyday tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a homeschooling mom and I run an online creative business, so tape is something I’m using constantly. This tape makes my life easier by being really good at what it does. It doesn’t tear, wrinkle, or stick to itself, and it feels surprisingly luxurious for tape. I just finished a Christmas gift wrapping marathon, and this tape outperformed every other tape I’ve owned. I also use it daily to package and ship items I sell online, and it’s so convenient and easy to work with. We reach for it all the time for homeschool projects. I love the premium matte surface which is very easy to write on. Highly recommend this tape!

Good tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape worked well and had no quality issues. The dispenser was mostly sturdy and convenient, but the tape stuck to itself too tightly, making it difficult to pull out with one hand. Overall, still a good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tape. I used it to wrap gifts and it truly is as close to invisible as I think tape can get. It sticks very well without any trouble. It's also very user friendly as my 4 year old was able to use the tape to hang up his art work.

Amazing Writeable tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Staples invisible tape is wonderful and what a better time of year to try this out. Unsure if you are like me but Christmas wrapping is not necessarily my favorite project. I normally end up with balls of tape stuck places because it did not stick to the wrapping paper or tags.
Let me say I know tape is not sexy or fun, but this Staples Invisible tape is wonderful. First of all, I love the matte finish and that it stuck to the package and not me. I was able to do easily gab the tape for sealing packages, adding tags.
What I also found is you can write on this tape, and it stays and did not smudge. Have you ever gotten to where you needed to go with presents and tags fell or well just in case I out names in the tape on the bottom of the paper this way no, "Oh that is not your gift sorry"
I was also lucky to have this tape available when I was making copies and accidentally tore one of the pages. I used this tape hoping the tape lines would not show on the copy and it did not at all.
This is great tape whether for the office, home or crafts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really enjoyed using this tape. It worked very well for regular paper and also heavy duty paper such as for wrapping presents. The tape was very sticky so I wasn't worried about the paper coming apart. It felt very sturdy and I loved the matte finish as it blended right in to whatever I was sticking it on so it wasn't easy to see once it was used. There were a few times it came apart when I was pulling harder, but 99% of the time it was perfect! I will use this tape going forward!

Fantastic Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Staples Invisible Tape is really great. It sticks incredibly well and easily. I found that it tore cleanly and evenly with my dispenser. It was almost undetectable on plain paper, thanks to a matte finish. I used it for gift wrapping as well, and I was also impressed with how easy and wrinkle free it applied to the wrapping paper. It's really quite invisible there as well, living up to it's name. I look forward to continued use of this tape moving forward.
