The Staples Tape works just as well as any other brand name tape... Why spend more when you can pay less and have a great product... In business it's all about cost saving... I recomend this product to anyone.

Perfect for Office Use or Gift Wrapping

Sometimes it's a little more difficult to tear on the dispense than Scott but not difficult enough to complain or not buy again. Great purchase.

Adhesive isn't quite as sticky as Scotch

We bought a package of these to use for doing the free gift wrapping we offer at our retail store. Unfortunately this tape doesn't stick to our preferred gift wrap paper nearly as well as the green box Scotch tape does. Consequently using this tapes slows us down and sometimes requires using much more tape than we otherwise would. I will not be buying it again.

I use the tape all the time for kids projects homework home office wrapping etc. Unfortunately and maybe it was just a fluky lot or something every roll I've started I've eventually have had to throw out still with plenty of tape left. If you lose the tape start and it sticks back onto the roll it is nearly impossible to get it back. I've had to cut a new "start" and have wasted so much tape to get it back because it rips so easily and you don't get the full width unless you can guide it. Its become like an art around the house when it happens! Sometimes it happens so badly that you just have to throw it out instead of spending another hour trying to work it back again. I just was fiddling with another roll and it tore right down the middle so I was trying to guide it to catch its whole width and it wouldn't so I went around and around in circles about 10 times and it never caught. Another roll in the garbage. FRUSTRATING! I will never buy the staples brand of tape again for this reason.

Have used Staples brand tape several years ago with no issues. However this tape is "stretchy" and with not easily cut with the dispenser. Not worth the hassle to save a little bit of money. Plan to return.
