I prefer Staples brand tape to name brand because it has equal quality with a better price.

I buy staples tape for the store i manage. It is just as good as the scotch brand. You cant beat the price difference.

Very annoying when you're busy and the tape keeps splitting. We have thrown some spools away they were that bad but not all of them do this.

This box didn't come well secured and the plastic around it was already burst open when I got it. I don't think that's a reflection on the tape itself. The tape is very comparable to 3m fits well in my dispenser and has a nice stick to it. I think I'm set for this size tape for life. Wish the centers came in different colors to give it a little more pop of color instead of everything being white or black with tape. Price was reasonable as well much cheaper than buying 12 individual rolls of tape.

Very costly....... Breaks a lot and I can't find the end.

Costly. The tape breaks and there is a lot of wasted time and wasted tape to get the end started again. This problem has existed for numerous years... So it is not just this batch......

Not invisible - hazy like "Magic" tape

I was trying to find a value on invisible/clear tape ... I like Scotch brand "Transparent" tape but NOT their "Magic" tape. I bought this Staples product thinking "Invisible" would be like "Transparent" but it definitely is not; it is like the hazy "Magic" tape ... I will be returning it (I did not even use it to be able to review it for performance as I will not use tape that is not transparent).
