No different than most other writing paper

i bought this based on the many consumer reviews that aver that this bagasse paper is superior for fountain pens; this has not been my experience: testing with three vintage fp's and one contemporary fp permuted with different inks showed that scratchy/smooth performances were statistically the same with bagasse as with other papers.

We keep these notepads on hand and wouldn't be without them. Because they are perforated you can take notes then tear the sheets off at the perforated line and place them in your folder with other pertinent information. Always have a few on hand!

Sustainable Earth for your Fountain Pen

As others have noted the paper is a little thin compared to that on other standard notepads but it is fountain pen friendly and reasonably priced. It is my everyday use paper.

Paper the way it should be made

Staples got this batch of pads right. I opened the package and knew I had a winner with the first pen strokes. I like this paper so well that I immediately ordered a second package so I won't run out. This paper is perfect for fountain pens. No bleeding at all. Great stuff. If you use a fountain pen you owe it to yourself to give this a try and it's a bargain to boot.
